Ahmed Adam Ali

Ahmed Adam Ali qualifies for nomination for his leadership in shaping Somalia’s national approach to ethical and responsible AI governance. In June 2025 he represented Somalia at UNESCO’s 3rd Global Forum on the Ethics of AI in Bangkok, outlining the country’s National Digital Strategy (2025–2029), ongoing work on the Data Protection Act, E-Transactions Law and Cybersecurity Bill, and the establishment of a dedicated AI governance office to align AI policies with global ethical standards.
