Alfred Ongere is a technology and innovation leader with more than a decade of experience in IT consulting, product leadership, and AI strategy. As Founder and CEO of AI Kenya established in 2017, he has grown East Africa’s largest AI ecosystem of over 10,000 professionals, driving community growth, capacity building, and stronger adoption of AI. His background includes senior technology and product leadership roles across telecommunications, media, entertainment, and fintech. Today Alfred is focused on helping organizations adopt AI responsibly through enterprise training, strategic advisory, and industry summits, while also building vertical and horizontal AI solutions that connect innovation to real-world impact. He is currently running the Augmented Thinking AI Masterclass Program, which equips businesses and professionals with practical guidance and strategies to lead with confidence in the age of AI.
