C4IR Rwanda co-hosted the Global AI Summit on Africa in April 2025 that launched the Africa Declaration on Artificial Intelligence prioritising ethical and trustworthy AI, established the Rwanda AI Scaling Hub to accelerate responsible AI solutions across priority sectors, and continues to pilot governance protocols for data economy and AI safety aligned with national policy.
