Michèle Mukeshimana

As Senior Lecturer and Dean at the University of Burundi, Michèle Mukeshimana has led the integration of artificial intelligence into the digital technology curriculum since its introduction and continues to advocate for practical AI skills development amid resource constraints. In December 2025 she served as Scientific Chair and keynote speaker at Deep Learning IndabaX Burundi, delivering sessions on AI fundamentals, challenges, and the future of work and digital skills, directly equipping students and young researchers with current AI knowledge.
